Dr. Nirupam Aich’s Laboratory for Environmental Nanotechnology (LEN) within the Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering (CSEE) in the University at Buffalo (UB), The State University of New York (SUNY) has a funded opening for a Ph.D. student with starting date from January 2017. The admitted student’s research will focus on synthesis and application of multifunctional catalytic nanohybrids for water treatment. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated to pursue research in environmental engineering and have an MS in Engineering/Sciences (Environmental, Chemical, Materials, etc.) with strong interest in chemistry/biology.
