The Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Mississippi invites applications for a non-tenure track Instructor position focusing on the areas of water resources and environmental engineering starting in August 2014. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering (or a closely related field) are required at the time of appointment. A Professional Engineer license is preferred. Undergraduate courses to be taught may include Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Statics, Dynamics, CE Laboratories, CE Design, and CE electives. The teaching load is not to exceed 12 credit hours per semester. Whereas the position is a nine-month appointment, there is a possibility for additional summer salary (teaching/and or research).
