Job Description: 

The Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Riverside, is seeking a postdoctoral scholar in the area of water chemistry and treatment. The researcher will conduct research on water reuse technologies, including advanced oxidation and various physicochemical treatment processes, for the treatment of reclaimed water and membrane concentrate. The successful applicant is expected to work independently on the project and can also contribute to other ongoing investigations in the lab, as well as ongoing collaboration with scientists from the Chemistry and Environmental Sciences Departments at UC Riverside.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field. In addition, a strong track-record in water chemistry and water treatment processes is required, including a proven publication record on this topic in leading peer-reviewed journals. Experience with mass spectroscopy based analytical instrumentation is an advantage.
