King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), founded in 2009, is an international, graduate research University located on the shores of the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia. Two postdoc positions are available in the Environmental Nanotechnology group at KAUST on two topics (1) two dimensional nanomaterial (graphene, MXene, MoS2, etc.) based membranes for water filtration; (2) photothermal based water desalination.

Although prior experiences on the research topics are not required, the applicants are expected to have (1) suitable background in conventional water treatment, or membrane based water treatment, or nanomaterials, (2) strong publication track record; (3) good command of oral and written English; (4) good teamwork spirit. Postdoc compensation at KAUST is highly competitive globally. Health insurance, free housing (fully furnished), relocation allowance, and yearly round-trip air tickets to the home country of the postdoc fellows will be provided by the university free-of-charge.
