Graduate Assistantship in Civil and Environmental Engineering at University of Massachusetts Lowell

Job Description: The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at University of Massachusetts Lowell (UML) is seeking a graduate assistant to work on experimental investigations of nanotechnology-enabled drinking water treatment with an emphasis on physicochemical processes.

Ideal candidates possess an M.S. degree in civil, environmental, chemical engineering, or related fields. Post-B.S. candidates who can demonstrate lab skills, significant achievements in undergraduate research may also be considered. Good written and verbal communication skills, self-motivated nature, and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team are required.

The position will start by the Fall 2017 semester and applications will be accepted until it is filled. The selected candidate will receive a stipend, tuition remission, and benefits.
