Job Description:

Postdoctoral Position  in microfluidics and single cell analysis.

The Wu  lab (biofluidics.bee.cornell.edu) in the department of Biological and Environmental Engineering at Cornell University invites  a  postdoctoral applicant in the direction of micro/nano fluidics and single cell analysis. The primary aim of the research is to come up with governing principles for cell-environment interactions, and use this knowledge to solve contemporary problems in environment. The particular problem of interest is the role of environmental cues in the growth and migration of cyanobacteria for smart management of algal blooms. This is a collaborative work with Cornell microbiology department.  The candidate will benefit from extensive resources on Cornell campus, including the Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future, Nanobiotechnology Center, and the Cornell Nanoscale Science & Technology Facility.

Applicants with prior experiences in micro/nano fabrication and/or  cell biology  are particularly encouraged to apply. If you are interested, please send in a copy of your cv along with names of three references to Dr. Mingming Wu at mw272@cornell.edu. This position is open until it is filled.
