The Subsurface Biogeochemistry Group at Korea University, Seoul invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher. The projects will focus on biogeochemical and mineralogical processes controlling release, transport and attenuation of dissolved metals, metalloids, nutrients, and radionuclides at contaminated subsurface environments. The research includes detailed field investigations, laboratory studies, and development of mathematical models to predict the complex geochemical behavior of these systems. Applicants must be highly motivated with a commitment to collaborative research, and able to work with minimum of supervision. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in (bio)geochemistry, environmental microbiology or environmental engineering.
The position is funded for two years assuming satisfactory performance. The position will be available immediately. The review will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
