The Peccia Research Group at Yale University is seeking to hire a postdoctoral scholar with a strong background in environmental microbiology and genetics. The successful candidate will work on a federally funded project aimed at understanding which features of microbial communities in the built environment are associated with negative human health outcomes.
Qualifications include the following: (1) a Ph.D. in environmental engineering or a related discipline, (2) expertise in environmental microbiology, including metagenomic analysis and bioinformatics, and (3) strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a cross-disciplinary team.
The preferred start time for this position is early Fall 2025.
