The Final Report from the 2016 NSF-AEESP Grand Challenges Workshop Series is now available.  As part of the Series, three workshops were held over the Winter and Spring of 2016 in locations designed to maximize the participation of the AEESP membership.  These included:

  • January 7-8, 2016, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, California
  • March 31-April 1, 2016, Rice University, Houston, Texas
  • May 19-20, 2016, Virginia Tech campus, Arlington, Virginia

Drs. Greg Characklis (UNC-Chapel Hill), Peter Vikesland (Virginia Tech), and Amy Childress (USC) organized the workshops.  The Series was made possible thanks to the generous support and sponsorship provided by the National Science Foundation and AEESP.  For more information about the Grand Challenges Workshops, click here.
