We are seeking a PhD student, in the area of hydrology and water resources management for the Fall Semester, 2017. A strong technical background in hydraulic and hydrological modeling, and water quality is essential. The PhD student will join a team with experience in fate and transport of water and related constituents across a wide range of spatial and temporal scales; including processes affecting fate and transport of sediment, and nutrients from various land use activities and developing watershed management strategies to improve water quality. The student will also be a part of a research on development of an integrated, decision support tool for optimization of stormwater green infrastructure placement and life-cycle cost assessment of grey, green, and hybrid stormwater infrastructures. The decision support tool requires integration of various modules and data exchange between modules. Knowledge of a programming language such as VBA or Python is a plus.
