Hiring Graduate Research Assistant

The Environmental and Water Analysis Group at Louisiana Tech University supervised by Dr. Sanjay Tewari is looking to hire a Graduate Research Assistant who is interested in pursuing Ph.D. in overlapping areas of electro-kinetics, electrocoagulation, and capacitive-deionization. The position is expected to start in September, 2017. The last date to apply for the admission in Fall was June 1. However, Dr. Tewari will work with applicants and make sure that applications are processed in time.

The selected candidate will be provided initial funding for first two years at $1,500 per month plus outstate tuition waiver. The funding is expected to continue for additional two years. Students with strong background in environmental engineering and/or aqueous-chemistry are encouraged to apply. Candidates with prior experience and skills in physical chemistry and related lab work will be given priority. Candidates should be willing to learn new techniques and become an independent researcher.
