The research assistant will study the weathering of microplastics/microfibers in aquatic environments, including degradation kinetics, products, and production of nanoplastics (supported by NSF-CHE). Motivated candidates with an academic background in aquatic biogeochemistry, environmental/chemical engineering, chemistry, and other science fields are encouraged to apply. Please e-mail your CV, transcripts, and scanned TOFEL/GRE scores to Dr. Laodong Guo (email@example.com). More information can be found at https://uwm.edu/guo-lab/ for Dr. Guo’s research group in aquatic biogeochemistry or the link for application procedures in the School of Freshwater Sciences at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
