Invitation to Contribute to Special Issue "Resilience and Sustainability of Coastal Communities"

Dear Coastal Environmental Science/Oceanography community,

The following special issue in Marine Pollution Bulletin (impact factor=5.553) is planned to present the latest advances in the field of coastal resilience and sustainability:

"Resilience and Sustainability of Coastal Communities"

This Special Issue requests the submission of papers that address the amalgam of tools needed to enhance resilience and sustainable development in coastal areas. Papers requested are in the following thrusts but not limited to:

  • Policy, Management, and Social Studies
  • Engineering and Emerging Technologies
  • Environmental Sciences
  • Coastal Hydrology and Oceanography

Papers are expected to make an effort to address two or more of the thrust areas stated above. For example, a paper on saltwater intrusion could consider the groundwater management in relation to drinking-water supply. Articles will be considered through April 4, 2023. We will gladly welcome and appreciate your contribution.
