The Department of Civil, Environmental, & Construction Engineering (CECE) at Texas Tech University invites applicants for a Postdoctoral Associate focused on environmental chemistry and the fate and transport of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in the environment. Specific research areas include PFAS leaching and mobility and remediation, and all projects in the lab include development and use of high resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) techniques for targeted and non-targeted analysis of PFAS. The candidate is expected to take a leadership role in management and execution of these projects and join a diverse group of highly motivated graduate and undergraduate researchers focused on PFAS research. Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in Civil & Environmental Engineering or related field or be in the final stages of completing their doctoral degree.
