Civil and Environmental Engineering invites applications for one full-time Postdoctoral Research position to collaborate with our team to bring stormwater management, ecosystem services, workforce development, and environmental sector training to East Knoxville. Candidates should have a primary interest and background in water resources, engineering, hydrology, or a related discipline. The post doc will work within a dynamic research team, will be exposed to interdisciplinary research and engagement, and will be expected to communicate with diverse audiences through various media.
The position is available to start as soon as November 15, 2025. The Postdoctoral researcher will report to Dr. Jon Hathaway. This is a twelve-month appointment, renewable annually for up to two years based on performance and funds availability. The compensation package includes a competitive salary, health benefits, career mentoring, and any required travel.
