The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department (CEE) at South Dakota Mines is seeking a graduate student (. The graduate student will be actively involved in applied research. The candidate for this position will conduct experimental and modeling investigations of flow and contaminant transport in vadose zone systems. The position involves development and application of unsaturated zone numerical models. Hands-on experience in analysis of subsurface flow/transport modeling is desirable.
