Department of Environmental Engineering, Program of Environmental and Polymer Engineering at INHA University is seeking a Post-doctoral Research Associate with strong background in the field membrane technology, biological wastewater treatment and electrochemistry. In particular, this position focues on developing conductive membrane and its application in laboratory-scaled electrochemical anaerobic membrane bioreactor for enhanced treatment of domestic sewage and resource recovery. The Post-doctoral Research Associate will be involved in research projects funded by Korea Research Foundation. Successful candidate is expected to work with graduate students to build anaerobic membrane bioreactor, perform continous reactor operation day-to-day basis and monitor system performances regularly by solving trouble shootings faced. Applicants must hold Ph.D. degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Sciences and Engineeirng or related field. Demonstrating track record of peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations in related field to electrochemical reactor and/or membrane bioreactor and instrumental analysis is highly desired.
The post-doc will also be expected to lead peer-reviewed publications and contribute to grant proposals.
