The US EPA Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics seeks an ORISE fellow to develop or adapt models for endpoints related to the environmental fate of chemicals. In addition to experience developed through the research project, the ORISE fellow will gain training in chemical risk assessment, exposure to government programs and processes, and understanding of environmental laws and rulemaking.
This position is open to people who have completed a master’s degree or PhD within the last 5 years, and who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Note that applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so a selection may be made before the Oct. 18 application deadline.
