Job Description

Job Summary:

The Department of Agronomy in the College of Agriculture is searching for a Post Doc Research Associate. The Postdoc will support at least one PFAS toxicology/ecotoxicology or treatment project and take the lead on at least one lab or field objective of an existing project. All projects deal with PFAS and some projects also include unregulated organic contaminants of high priority. Most projects have both lab and field components and include occurrence, fate in field sites where biosolids have been applied, and mitigation. The successful candidate will join the Environmental Organic Chemistry group of Dr. Linda S. Lee (https://ag.purdue.edu/department/agry/directory.html#/lslee) and work with many other research collaborators.

The research requires an interest and preferably experience with liquid chromatography high-resolution mass spectrometry and complex sample preparation with substantial quality assurance and quality control steps. The initial position will be for 1 years with renewal options up to 6 years.
