The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering seeks to hire a Laboratory Manager/technician to manage all of its labs. The position title, and related compensation, will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience.
The Lab Manager for department will maintain all labs for safety, operation, and hygiene. They will prepare labs for teaching classes and work closely with faculty and TAs in the department. They will perform routine maintenance of lab instruments including but not limited to MTS Landmark and Mini Bionix hydraulic load frames, ELE digital shear, ELE load consolidation, Harvard Miniature compaction apparatus, ELE Stability Tester, Gyratory compactor, Dynamic shear Rheometer, Bending beam Rheometer, DO meters, AA, weighing balances, BET analyzer, GC-MS, HPLC, IC, Millipore water, pH meters, TOC, UV-visible spectrometer, UPLC/MS/MS, GC/MS/MS, UPLC, UPLC-QToF, and others.
