Job Description

Assistant/Associate Professor, Environmental and Sustainable Engineering
 

The Environmental and Sustainable Engineering Department within the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University at Albany, SUNY, is seeking applicants for a full-time Associate or Assistant Professor to begin Fall 2023.

The successful candidate is expected to develop an externally funded research program in environmental and sustainable engineering. In addition, the applicant will be responsible for teaching 2-4 courses per year at the undergraduate and/or graduate level and participate in curriculum development. Other teaching assignments will be determined by the candidate's expertise and the needs of the Department.

Applicants must have a PhD in Environmental Engineering, or a closely related discipline, from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized accrediting organization or anticipate completion by May 2023. Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, air quality and pollution prevention, renewable materials, sustainable design, food-energy-water nexus and water resources engineering.
