Job Description

The EC2 research group (Environmental Chemistry of Emerging Contaminants Group) in the Department of Chemical & Environmental Engineering at the University of Cincinnati is accepting applicants for a PhD student in the area of analysis and fate of organic contaminants, with an expected starting date in Fall 2023. Self-motivated students with academic backgrounds in chemistry, geosciences, chemical engineering, environmental engineering/science, and other closely related subjects are encouraged to apply. Experiences with HPLC, photochemistry, LC-MS, biotransformation, reaction kinetics, trace level analysis, advanced oxidation processes, and drinking water treatment are desired but not required.
