Job Description

Job Description:
A Postdoctoral Researcher is sought with interests in the role of reactive iron minerals on abiotic transformation of chlorinated ethenes in groundwater, and the associated role of bacteria in promoting the formation of reactive iron minerals. The work is supported by the Department of Defense (DoD) Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP), and funding is available for up to 2 years.

Qualifications:
-PhD in environmental engineering, environmental chemistry, environmental biogeochemistry, or related discipline
-Experience planning and conducting laboratory studies to investigate pollutant fate/reaction
-Experience with gas and/or liquid chromatography
-Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
