Job Description

The Environmental Engineering Laboratory at Kyung Hee University is looking for highly motivated prospective PhD students (or combined MS-PhD course), who hold an MS or BS in engineering fields (civil/environmental/biological/chemical), microbiology, bioinformatics associated with the research projects described below.

The PhD students will get involved in research projects that examine i) microbiome engineering/management for urban water cycles, ii) pollutant removals in environmental biochemical processes (e.g., biodegradation, adsorption, advanced oxidation, etc.), iii) synthesis/application of adsorbents for water treatment, or iv) environmental system modeling using artificial intelligence techniques (e.g., python, R).

An official English test score (TOEFL, IELTS, TEPS) is mandatory for graduate program admission at KHU. The graduate student scholarship includes a full tuition fee and monthly stipends will be offered under the guideline of KHU.
