The Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Arkansas invites applications for two Ph.D. students in environmental engineering starting in Summer or Fall 2023. One student will conduct research on disinfection byproduct (DBP) formation pathways and the other on passive sampler development for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) – project information can be found here:

Both positions will be fully supported with tuition, monthly stipend, and health benefits. Candidates with a B.Sc. and/or M.S. degree(s) in environmental engineering, chemistry, or closely related field are encouraged to apply.
