Job Description

The BioNext Lab in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Temple University invites Ph.D. applications for Fall 2023/Spring 2024. Students will develop electroactive membranes and combine them with biotechnologies to desalinate seawater, recover resources, and remove emerging contaminants such as antibiotic resistance genes. Students will also have the opportunity to receive hands-on training in data-driven modeling and environmental microbiology. Candidates with the following experience are encouraged to apply: nanomaterials, catalysis, electrochemistry, and membrane technologies.
