A postdoctoral researcher position is available in the Environmental Chemistry Research Lab of Professor Ching-Hua Huang, in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. The postdoctoral researcher will support an EPA project on the monitoring and treatment of PFAS in water/wastewater systems, and an NSF project on advanced oxidation/reduction technologies. The postdoc is expected to conduct fundamental research, operate and maintain advanced analytical instrumentation, contribute to proposal and publication preparation, and work collaboratively with project teams. Individuals with interests and experience in emerging contaminant, advanced mass spectrometry, photo/electro oxidation, and modeling are particularly welcome to apply. The applicants should have Ph.D. in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or closely related fields, and demonstrate strong writing and speaking abilities and a record of high productivity in research. The position is available from August 1, 2023, for duration of one year, with possibility of extension to a second year depending on satisfactory performance and funding availability.
