Photoelectrochemical system for water treatment and energy/resource recovery

The research group of Professor Irene M. C. Lo at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, would like to invite applications for a Post-doctoral Fellow position. As a Post-doctoral Researcher, you will work on cutting-edge research projects aimed at developing innovative photoelectrochemical systems for sustainable water treatment and energy/resource recovery. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in photoelectrochemistry, environmental engineering, and materials design and synthesis. Experience with the design and fabrication of photoelectrochemical systems and their application in water treatment or/and resource recovery is highly desirable. The ideal candidate is also expected to have proficient communication skills in both written and spoken English. The appointment will be made initially on a contract for 12 months, renewable subject to mutual agreement. The salary is 25,000 HKD/month or higher, which will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
