A postdoctoral position is available in the department of Environmental and Sustainable Engineering at the University at Albany, State University of New York, under the supervision of Dr. Rixiang Huang. This position is immediately available and the initial appointment is one year with possible renewal that depends on funding availability and mutual satisfaction.
The desired qualifications for this position include:
1) A Ph.D in soil sciences, agricultural sciences, geochemistry, environmental sciences, or other closely related disciplines;
2) Demonstrated experiences in experiment-based research in the related disciplines;
3) Extensive hand-on experiences in relevant analytical instruments, such as gas and liquid chromatography, mass spectroscopy, and/or nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy;
4) Strong scientific communication skills;
