Environmental Engineering Research Lab at the Department of Smart-City Engineering, Inha University announces one Ph.D. position opening. Graduates interested in pursuing Ph.D. and conducting research in advanced anaerobic digestion, bioprocess engineering, and greenhouse gas emission reduction are invited to apply. The selected applicant will implement his/her research under the supervision of Dr. Dong-Hoon Kim (Assoc. professor), smart-city engineering. The selected candidate will be supported by a performance-dependent salary ($1300-1500/month) excluding taxes, besides complete covering for institutional fees.

Requirements

Candidates must have a relevant master’s degree (civil engineering, environmental engineering, biochemical engineering, or chemical engineering) with a minimum GPA of 3.5 or above and a valid English language test (min. IELTS score: 6.5, Duolingo 115, TOEFL: IBT 71) certificate. He/She will be willing to start the Ph.D. by the upcoming spring semester, 2024. According to university norms, selected candidate will be required to provide a certificate of bank balance ($20,000/-). Details are found in the following link.
