Multiple Research Scientist positions are available in the research group of Dr. Hongyue Jin in the Department of Systems and Industrial Engineering at the University of Arizona. The research scientists will work on techno-economic analysis and life cycle assessment in collaboration with industry, national labs, and universities. Preferred qualifications include PhD degree in a related field and experience with one or more of the following topics: (bio)chemical processes, rare earth element and/or magnet production and recycling, Li-ion battery recycling, electrification of vehicle fleets, and artificial reef construction. The positions are full time with an annual pay rate of $59,404. The offer may extend to multiple years depending on fund availability and research performance.
