Job Description
A postdoctoral researcher is being recruited to work on a carbon capture and utilization project funded by NSF. The specific duties include managing various aspects of the project that are subcontracted, and to conduct laboratory studies on the hydrolysis of biomass, and the recovery of organic acids from fermentation broths. Degrees in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering would be acceptable. Some background or exposure to biomass hydrolysis and/or liquid-liquid extraction processes would be useful. Individuals with an MS degree with relevant experience will also be considered.
