Job Description

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rowan University invites applications for a fully funded Ph.D. student position in Environmental Engineering starting in September 2024. The student will conduct research on sustainable water/wastewater treatment and/or stormwater management (quality control). 

 

Candidates with an undergraduate degree with senior thesis in environmental engineering, environmental science, biological engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, or other closely related fields are encouraged to apply. A master’s degree is highly desirable. Previous research experience with PFAS or adsorption and/or degradation processes is preferred.

 

Self-motivated candidates with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as a team are expected.
