Job Description

Dr. Sangchul Hwang at Texas State University invites a creative and self-motivated Ph.D. student starting in Fall 2024. The ideal candidate must be an advanced degree holder in Environmental Engineering Chemistry or related fields and possess strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with the analysis per-/polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) in environmental samples.

Applicants should submit the required materials to the Materials Science, Engineering, and Commercialization (MSEC) program at Texas State University (https://www.gradcollege.txst.edu/programs/msec-phd.html). Applicants may also submit the following materials by February 29, 2024 to Dr. Sangchul Hwang (sanhwang@txstate.edu) before making an official application:
1) a current curriculum vitae, including a list of publications and contact info for three references;
