Graduate Position at Environmental Research and Policy Lab at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth
Dr. Bompoti’s Environmental Research and Policy Lab at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is seeking a graduate student that is interested in research on environmental policy. The research project will focus on building evidence-based tools for dissemination of environmental, socioeconomic, and public health data, and development of a data reporting platform. The student is anticipated to start in Fall 2024 under the guidance of Dr. Nefeli Bompoti.
Qualifications:
- Motivation to conduct research and work with an interdisciplinary research team and communities in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Strong background in environmental engineering or environmental science or environmental policy.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- A master's degree is preferred, although exceptional students with a bachelor’s degree will also be considered.
- US Citizenship or permanent residence is required.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
