Job Description

A postdoctoral research fellow position in the areas of life cycle assessment is available in the Environmental Engineering Laboratory at Kyung Hee University. We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher who holds a PhD in environmental/chemical/biological/material engineering or related fields. The successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills (with spoken/written English) and be highly motivated, independent, and self-directed.

The postdoctoral researcher will conduct research on life cycle assessments (global warming potential, carbon footprint, health/environmental impact, etc.) of various products (adsorbents, bio-based materials, biochar, etc.) upcycled from organic wastes (plastics, sludge, etc.) with potential techno-economic analysis. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in laboratory experiment, modeling, and/or software usage with track record of publications in the areas.

The appointment will be extended up to many years with a promotion opportunity (to Research Professorship) upon satisfactory performance.
