Graduate Position in Environmental Research and Policy Lab at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth
Dr. Bompoti’s Environmental Research and Policy Lab at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is seeking a graduate student that is interested in environmental justice. The project is funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and focuses on building evidence-based tools for dissemination of environmental, socioeconomic, and public health data, and development of a data reporting platform. The student is anticipated to start in Spring 2025 under the guidance of Dr. Nefeli Bompoti.
Qualifications:
- Motivation to conduct research and work with an interdisciplinary research team and communities in New England.
- Strong background in environmental engineering/science or environmental policy.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- US Citizenship or permanent residence is preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
