A masters (MS) graduate research assistantship is available in the Soil Chemistry Lab at Auburn University for starting in fall 2020. The successful candidate will study the soil organic matter under long term agricultural management. The incumbent will be expected to conduct multiple laboratory experiments, apply various analytical techniques, and analyze and present their data. Opportunities to present will include, professional meetings, and peer-review publications.
Applicants must have BS in soil science, environmental science, or a similar field. Students with strong communication skills and prior knowledge and experience in molecular spectroscopy will be given preference.
