Job Description

Dr. Kaisen Lin’s research group in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Michigan State University is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PhD student to join our team in Spring 2025 or Fall 2025. Our research focuses on indoor air quality, biological particles, and emerging atmospheric pollutants. The successful candidate will receive full funding including stipend, tuition, health insurance, and annual travel support.

The ideal candidates should have a B.S. or M.S. degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, or a related field. Prior research experience in air quality, environmental microbiology, and environmental health is desired. The successful candidates will work closely with the PI on projects that meet mutual interests of the PI and the students.
