Dr. Peng Yi from Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatics Engineering at Florida Atlantic University is seeking graduate students at M.S. or Ph.D. level. The graduate research will be in the areas of Membrane Distillation and Environmental Nanotechnology. The graduate student will be offered research assistantship which covers stipend and tuition, and expected to start from Spring 2022.
The candidate should have degree(s) in environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or other closely related engineering or science programs. The candidate’s research experience and publications will be highly appreciated during the review process. The grade point average (GPA) of the applicant should be higher than 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). Graduate Record Exam (GRE) scores should meet the requirements: Verbal = 150 or higher; Quantitative = 155 or higher; Analytical Writing = 3.5 or higher. International students who are not from English-speaking countries must submit the results of English proficiency test. As a guideline, the score of TOEFL iBT should be higher than 80.
