This position will be focused on measuring organic and inorganic contaminants in agricultural systems, and will include work with multiple project teams. Research focuses will include:

  1. Wastewater reuse for agricultural irrigation: variability in wastewater composition and its effects on contaminant accumulation in irrigated plants
  2. Contaminants in maple syrup

We are seeking a recent Ph.D. with training in environmental chemistry, food science, analytical chemistry, or a closely related field. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following areas:

  • LC-MS analysis (including targeted and non-targeted methods) and sample preparation for analysis of organic contaminants in complex matrices
