The Lin group at Vanderbilt is looking for one to two prospective PhD students to start (preferably) in spring 2022. The research area is on membrane-based or electrochemical water separation processes with a certain degree of flexibility in terms of specific projects. Ideal candidates should have a background in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, material science and engineering, or other related fields in physical sciences and engineering. Candidates with a master’s degree are preferred but strong candidates without a master degree will also be considered.
All admitted PhD students will receive full financial aid including tuition, competitive stipend, and benefits.
