The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Toledo (https://www.utoledo.edu/engineering/civil-and-environmental-engineering/) is seeking motivated graduate students to work under the guidance of Dr. Young Seo, beginning August 2021 or January 2022. The selected students will participate in externally funded projects related with developing water treatment methods for harmful cyanobacterial blooms and their toxins.
Applicants should be graduates or final-year undergraduates who hold or expect to gain a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering, environmental science, chemical engineering, microbiology, or related fields.
Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience with molecular biology methods and a M.S. degree.
