We are seeking a curious and motivated individual to join our research team for a Ph.D. position starting in Fall 2025 in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at the University of Alabama. The research will focus on aerosol science and engineering, with the goal of creating healthier and more resilient indoor environments.
The Ph.D. program will be housed in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering, with an emphasis on Architectural Engineering. A background in Architectural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in aerosol instrumentation and data analysis. The position will be funded through a combination of research and teaching assistantships for the duration of the program. The goal is to foster holistic development in teaching, service, and research, while cultivating a sense of collaboration, collegiality, and high ethical standards.
