Position Summary: The Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Soil and Water Resources Engineering area. The research team members have unique expertise in the fields of water quality and agronomy. The graduate research will focus in agricultural water quality modeling and monitoring.

Qualifications: The candidate(s) should have degree/s in agricultural/civil engineering, environmental science, or agronomy discipline with strong background in hydrology, water quality, geo-informatics or related disciplines. The candidate should have previous research experience in water quality modeling (RZWQM2, DRAINMOD, SWAT or HSPF), experience in GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS) and familiar with programming (FORTRAN/ MATLAB/PYTHON and R). Excellent data analysis skills, fluency in English, and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team are further essential requirements. Familiarity with Midwestern U.S. agricultural production system is desirable.

Salary and Benefits: Starting salary/stipend and position will be commensurate with experience. Position will include full benefits including health insurance.
