We are seeking a highly motivated Ph.D. student to join our research team starting in Fall 2025 in the Department of Environmental Sciences at Louisiana State University. The successful candidate will work on a prestigious U.S. EPA-funded project focused on monitoring emerging and persistent contaminants of concern, contributing to national efforts to better understand and mitigate environmental and public health risks. The student will be trained in sampling and the development of LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS analytical methods capable of quantifying PFAS, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals in various environmental matrices.
