The Wawrousek lab in the Department of Chemical & Biomedical Engineering has an opening for a fully-funded MS student starting in Fall 2026. We encourage applications from candidates with interest in microbial engineering, systems biology, and microbial biofuel production to apply. Our work on interdisciplinary research projects can be suitable for students with backgrounds in chemical engineering, chemistry, environmental engineering, environmental science, biology, molecular biology, genetics, microbiology, biochemistry, biogeochemistry, biotechnology, and bioinformatics.
