A postdoctoral research fellow position is available in the Environmental Engineering Laboratory at Kyung Hee University. We invite application candidates with a PhD in environmental, chemical, biological, or materials engineering, or in a closely related field.
The successful candidate will conduct research in broad areas of environmental engineering and science, including life cycle assessments (global warming potential, carbon footprint, health/environmental impact, etc.), techno-economic analysis, or eco-design for sustainable products regulation (ESPR) associated with various environmental, personal care, and health products (bio-based materials, biocides/antimicrobials, adsorbents/biochar, cosmetics, etc.).
Applicants with a strong record of peer-reviewed publications, evidence of creativity, initiative, and collaboration are especially encouraged to apply. Applicants with strong research accomplishments in other areas will also be given consideration.
The initial appointment is for one year and will be extended for many years based on satisfactory performance, with the possibility of promotion to a Research Professorship. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience, in accordance with university guidelines. The position is available immediately and will remain open until filled.
