Job Description

The Environmental Engineering Program at Manhattan University invites applications for a fully funded full-time Masters Graduate Research Assistant position starting Fall 2026. The student will support the start-up of a new WRRF Anaerobic Digester facility. Expected duties include:

  • Daily sample collection and basic water quality laboratory analyses
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or a science related to engineering (Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry)
  • Strong academic background (GPA > 3.0)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
  • For international applicants: Meet MU Graduate School English proficiency requirements (e.g., TOEFL iBT ≥ 80 or IELTS Academic ≥ 6.5, or equivalent scores).
