The Volponi Lab is seeking Ph.D. students interested in studying the fate and transport of contaminants through rivers and soils at Kansas State University. The proposed research will consist of a combination of mathematical modeling, lab experiments, and field experiments. Candidates should be excited to develop a range of skills across these methods.
The degree will be awarded through the Civil Engineering department at Kansas State University. Start dates in either Spring (January) or Fall (August) 2027 are possible, with a January start preferred.
